Risk Disclosure Notice
Last updated: June 1, 2026
This Risk Disclosure Notice is issued by Ebioro UAB and applies to all services offered under the Ebioro brand, including the Ebioro Wallet (a self-hosted wallet for digital assets), Ebioro Business (the platform for companies and institutions), Ebioro merchant and point-of-sale services, and any future services involving digital assets. It supplements — and does not replace — the terms of service of each product.
1. General risk statement
Digital assets, including tokens designed to maintain a stable value, are high-risk instruments. Their value may fluctuate significantly, and you may lose some or all of the value you hold. You should only transact in digital assets if you understand and accept the risks involved.
2. Ebioro does not provide advice
Ebioro does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice. No Ebioro communication should be read as an investment recommendation. You are responsible for your own decisions and should consult independent advisers where appropriate.
3. Volatility and market risk
Prices of digital assets are volatile. External events — regulatory developments, security incidents, protocol changes, market disruptions — can significantly affect the price, liquidity or usability of an asset.
4. Technology and cybersecurity risk
Our services depend on digital infrastructure: blockchain networks, smart contracts, APIs and third-party systems. These can experience outages, bugs or attacks. Transactions confirmed on a blockchain network are irreversible — losses caused by failures or attacks at the network or third-party level may not be recoverable.
5. Regulatory risk
The regulatory framework for digital assets — including Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 ("MiCA") — continues to develop, and treatment varies between jurisdictions. Not all services or assets are available in every country, and it is your responsibility to ensure that your own use of our services complies with the laws that apply to you. Ebioro may modify, restrict or discontinue features where required to comply with applicable law; the terms of each product describe how. Ebioro's regulatory status is described in the terms of each product.
6. Stable-value token and issuer risk
Tokens designed to be stable are issued by third-party issuers — not by Ebioro. The issuer is responsible for the token, its stability and its redemption. A token may fail to maintain its intended value, and an issuer may fail. Ebioro does not guarantee the solvency, regulatory status or liquidity of any issuer.
7. Self-managed services — your responsibility for keys and credentials
Ebioro's current products are non-custodial (self-managed): you — or your organisation's authorised persons — hold the keys that control your assets, and Ebioro cannot move them. This control comes with responsibility: you are solely responsible for your devices, credentials, recovery and backup phrases, and signing sessions. If you lose all of your keys and recovery credentials, your assets become permanently inaccessible — Ebioro cannot recover them. Products offered by Ebioro under separate local authorisations are governed by their own terms and their own risk disclosures.
8. Liquidity risk
The ability to convert a digital asset to money, or to move it, depends on market conditions and on the availability of third-party services (such as ramp providers). Availability is not guaranteed and may vary by country and over time.
9. Compliance checks and service restrictions
Ebioro operates an anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing programme aligned with European Union law, United Nations sanctions and FATF guidance. This may result in verification requests, transaction delays or restrictions of service. Because our products are non-custodial, a restriction of Ebioro's services limits your access to those services — it does not transfer your assets to Ebioro, and the routes described in each product's terms for moving your own assets remain available.
10. Service continuity
Ebioro may modify, suspend or discontinue services for legal, technical or operational reasons, as described in the terms of each product. Because the products are non-custodial, your assets remain under your control in such events.
Acknowledgement
By using any Ebioro service, you confirm that you have read and understood this Risk Disclosure Notice and that you accept responsibility for your own decisions. Ebioro's liability is governed by the terms of service of the relevant product.
